Shift: 7:00 PM - 7:30 AM

Experience:

• 2 years of experience with 3 months within the last 12 months.

• 12 months of Critical Care Float Pool experience with any experience within the last 18 months.

• Travel experience is preferred.

• Experience with Epic is required with 1 month within the last 6 months.

• BSN completion required.

Requirements:

• Candidates must have a Pennsylvania license or compact license (required for submission).

• This role may require floating to additional units and locations

• Local & travel allowed. Candidates living <50 miles from facility will be processed as local.

• Anyone currently working at this facility cannot be submitted.

Required Credentials: Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.

Special Requests: RTO: No more than 5 days; if 5 days in a row, a week can be added to the back end. Travelers do not work on holidays but are expected to work the days surrounding the holiday. Depending on how many holidays occur during the contract, they must be available for the days surrounding 1-2 holidays.

Unit Details: Eventually, Women’s and Family will have the same patient population as MICU/RICU at Temple main, except for CRRT and ECMO; cases will include preeclampsia, eclampsia, hypertensive mothers, hyperemesis, and postpartum hemorrhage.

Floating Requirements: ICU RNs will float to all ICUs, step-down units, IMCU, and the ED for ICU holds/borders. ICU RNs may also float to Women’s and Family if needed; at that facility, they will only be assigned to the ICU and will receive orientation for this assignment. RNs are normally assigned to a unit or hospital 24 hours in advance; however, they may be pulled mid-shift to float to any unit or hospital.

• AUTO OFFER - NO INTERVIEW : This is an auto-offer position. You will likely not interview with the facility prior to receiving an offer. However, an interview can be arranged upon request. All time off requests must be submitted at application. Scheduling requests must be worked out with the manager directly upon starting the assignment. Any offers for this job will require a clear “Yes” or “No” response from the nurse within 24hrs or the offer must be declined.
