Founded in the United States in 2011 and expanded to India in 2018, CricBattle specializes in season-long and tournament-long fantasy formats that emphasize skill, strategy, and sustained engagement rather than single-match outcomes.

Role Overview

CricBattle is looking for a hands-on UI/UX Designer and Front-End Developer who can independently design intuitive user experiences and convert those designs into responsive, production-ready HTML/CSS.

The candidate will work across CricBattle’s website, responsive mobile platform, and Android/iOS applications. The role requires strong UI/UX fundamentals, advanced HTML/CSS capabilities, and the ability to create reusable design assets and front-end components.

The candidate will also help organize CricBattle’s design system and front-end structure so the product can progressively integrate with AI-assisted design and development infrastructure. AI will be used as an accelerator where appropriate, but the candidate must be fully capable of designing, coding, evaluating, and solving problems independently.

Responsibilities

• Develop responsive front-end interfaces using clean, maintainable HTML and CSS.
• Create intuitive UI/UX designs, graphics, banners, icons, promotional materials, and event visuals. Use Photoshop and CorelDRAW to create and manage editable design files.
• Independently design and develop responsive user interfaces without relying on AI-generated designs or code
• Convert Figma designs into clean, maintainable, and production-ready HTML/CSS
• Build and maintain a structured Figma design system and reusable front-end component library
• Organize design assets, components, design tokens, CSS standards, and documentation so they can be integrated into future AI-assisted development workflows
• Collaborate with the product and engineering teams to bring CricBattle’s UI and front-end environment into the company’s broader AI infrastructure
• Use AI tools selectively to accelerate prototyping, design variations, coding, testing, and documentation
• Review and correct AI-generated output to ensure usability, accuracy, responsiveness, accessibility, and code quality
• Ensure that all final design and front-end decisions are based on sound professional judgment rather than dependence on AI tools

Must Have

• At least 2 years of relevant front-end development experience, with UI/UX or graphic design experience.
• Demonstrated ability to independently create UI/UX designs and implement them using HTML5 and CSS3. Ability to write, troubleshoot, and maintain HTML/CSS without relying on AI-generated code.
• Experience creating reusable design systems, UI components, CSS structures, and front-end documentation
• Ability to evaluate AI-generated designs or code critically and improve them when necessary
• Experience with Figma or a similar design tool and a good understanding of UI/UX principles. Professional experience with Photoshop and CorelDRAW.

Preferred

• Experience with AI-assisted design, coding, prototyping, or testing tools. Familiarity with design tokens, structured component libraries, and design-to-code workflows
• Familiarity with design systems, component libraries, reusable CSS patterns, and design-to-code workflows.
• Basic knowledge of JavaScript, React, APIs, content management systems, or image optimization.
• Experience with sports, cricket, fantasy sports, event management, SaaS, or marketplace products.
