PARAPROFESSIONAL SALARY GUIDE

Full-Time Paraprofessionals are eligible for the following

• Full-Time Paraprofessionals are entitled to a 30 minute duty free lunch and work a 6.5 hour day.
• SICK: One (1) day earned per month of employment (Pro-Rated) banked each year of employment.
• PERSONAL: Three (3) days non-accumulative days per year, unused days are converted to sick days.
• FAMILY ILLNESS: Three (3) non-accumulative days per year, not banked.
• BEREAVEMENT (DIF): Five (5) non-accumulative days per year, not banked.
• TENURE: The position of Paraprofessional is not eligible for tenure.
• MEDICAL BENEFITS: Per State Guidelines, full-time paraprofessionals hired after 7/1/2020 shall be offered EHP Single Health Care Coverage only. Individuals may choose to purchase coverage for dependants. Full-time individuals may choose remuneration by waiving benefits per NJ State Statute.

Part-Time Paraprofessionals are eligible for the following

• Starting salary is $22.00 per hour. Hourly rate for a paraprofessional with five (5)+ years is $23.00 per hour.
• SICK: One (1) day earned per month of employment Pro-Rated banked each year of employment.
