Accounting Manager

Team LeadershipSupervise a team of Staff Accountants, including workload management and day-to-day supportTrain and mentor the team and build consistency in processes and dataTravel to centers to train staff on accounting and operational processesMerchant Card ProcessingManage credit card chargeback disputes from receipt through resolutionPrepare and complete month-end bank and credit card reconciliationsDaily and Weekly OperationsManage daily sales reporting across all centersAudit our game card system (Intercard) daily and weekly to drive accountability at the center levelPartner with Operations to maintain performance standards and support accurate reconciliationMonth-End and Year-EndPrepare multi-state sales tax for paymentComplete card fee reallocation and vending sales journal entriesPerform cash on hand, ATM, and tip bank auditsSupport the annual year-end auditProcess ImprovementResearch state and local sales tax rates and applicabilityFind and implement automation and AI tools to cut manual work and improve accuracyWhat you bring3 to 5 years of accounting experience in a high-volume setting like retail, food and beverage, hospitality, or entertainmentHands-on experience with NetSuite or a similar ERP (required)Working knowledge of merchant card processing, reconciliation, and chargebacksExperience using automation or AI tools in accounting workflows (strongly preferred)Prior supervisory or team lead experienceStrong Excel skills and comfort with large data setsBachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (preferred)Multi-state sales tax and multi-location accounting experience preferredAmusement or game card system experience is a plusWork environmentMostly office-based, with periodic travel to centers, including overnights.
