Senior Project Architect

We are seeking an experienced Licensed Architect with 10+ years of architectural design and project delivery experience to provide technical leadership and oversee projects through all phases of development. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background, excellent project coordination skills, and proficiency in Revit.The successful candidate will lead architectural design, construction documentation, consultant coordination, quality assurance, and construction administration while remaining actively involved in project execution. Experience with Pre-Engineered Metal Buildings (PEMB) is preferred.Key ResponsibilitiesLead architectural projects through design, documentation, and construction administration phases.Provide technical guidance and leadership while actively contributing to project delivery.Prepare, review, and coordinate architectural drawings, construction documents, and specifications.Ensure compliance with applicable building codes, regulations, and project requirements.Perform quality assurance and quality control (QA/QC) reviews to maintain design accuracy and quality.Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams, consultants, contractors, and other project stakeholders.Identify technical challenges, resolve design issues, and implement effective solutions.Utilize Revit to support architectural design, modeling, and documentation.Oversee project progress and ensure deliverables meet established standards and deadlines.

RequirementsMust be a Licensed Architect.Minimum 10+ years of progressively responsible experience in architectural design and project delivery.Demonstrated experience leading projects through multiple phases, including design, documentation, consultant coordination, and construction administration.Strong technical architectural knowledge and proven problem-solving capabilities.Experience coordinating multidisciplinary teams and external consultants.Thorough understanding of building codes, construction documents, specifications, and project delivery processes.Strong proficiency in Revit.Experience with Pre-Engineered Metal Buildings (PEMB) is preferred.Ability to provide technical leadership while remaining hands-on with project work.Candidates based in or near Upstate New York are preferred. xzbcwsv Availability to work full-time on-site is required.
