North American Commercial is pleased to open up our search for a Controller to oversee our accounting department. We are looking for experienced candidates to handle the following day to day functions for our portfolio:

Ensures quality for all financial aspects of the accounting departmentImplements and enforces quality assurance standardsOversight of all AR/AP duties to ensure accurate and timely workPerforms GAPP accounting at a high level for NAC and NAC clientsEstablishes and adheres to schedules for reports, distributions and all other accounting deadlinesEnsures all payments, distributions and requests are handled with care, diligence, accuracy and within the permitted timelines.Oversee’s and trains accounting staff to perform their job with excellent qualityAssist Property Managers with tasks and support on an as needed basisMaintains accurate digital and paper document trails within the NAC office and serversSets up new properties within the accounting software and NAC officeProduces, organizes and sends all financial reports to clientsHandles and ensures all monthly and yearly reconciliations are accurate and timelyQualificationsYardi experience (or equivalent) within the Property Management xzbcwsv field is requiredBachelors or equivalent experience within the Property Management industryFamiliar with all of the typical software such as: Ms Office, Internet explorer etcJob Type: Full-time
