Role Overview

We are looking for an experienced Technical Analyst with strong expertise in Oracle Transportation Management (OTM) to support complex consulting and implementation initiatives. The role involves OTM configuration, integration, automation, technical problem-solving, and collaboration with global business and technology teams.

The ideal candidate should have a strong understanding of transportation management and logistics operations across multiple transportation modes and hands-on experience delivering OTM implementations in complex enterprise environments.

Key Responsibilities

• Support and deliver Oracle Transportation Management (OTM) implementations across complex enterprise environments.
• Configure OTM solutions including automation agents, business rules, screen sets, and system workflows .
• Work with BI Publisher, XML, XSL, Web Services, and REST APIs for reporting and system integrations.
• Analyze transportation and logistics processes across LTL, FTL, Rail, Ocean, and Air transportation modes.
• Design and support integrations with systems and processes related to logistics, procurement, master data, and other enterprise applications .
• Troubleshoot complex technical issues and develop effective and scalable solutions.
• Collaborate with business and technical stakeholders to translate complex technical concepts into clear business requirements and solutions.
• Mentor and support junior team members , sharing technical knowledge and best practices.
• Contribute to technical and architectural discussions involving Event-Driven Design, Domain-Driven Design (DDD), Test-Driven Development (TDD), and Microservices .
• Manage multiple priorities and deliverables while working in a fast-paced, global, and highly matrixed environment .
• Support project planning and delivery activities using relevant project management techniques .
• Maintain technical documentation and contribute to solution design and implementation standards.

Required Skills

• Experience delivering 3+ OTM implementations in complex environments.
• Strong understanding of transportation management processes and logistics operations across multiple modes.
• Hands-on experience with OTM configuration, automation agents, business rules, and screen set management .
• Strong knowledge of BI Publisher, XML, XSL, Web Services, and REST APIs .
• Knowledge of integrations across logistics, procurement, master data, and other enterprise systems .
• Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities with experience troubleshooting complex technical issues.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to explain technical concepts in business terms .
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively while managing multiple priorities and deadlines.
• Advanced English communication skills , both written and spoken.
• Ability to work effectively within global and highly matrixed teams .

Education

• Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent from an accredited institution.
• Relevant certifications in Oracle OTM or related technologies are preferred.

Preferred Experience

• Experience with VBA scripting / Excel macros .
• Knowledge of project management techniques and methodologies .
• Experience with architectural concepts including Event-Driven Design, DDD, TDD, and Microservices .
• Experience mentoring and developing junior technical professionals.
• Relevant Oracle OTM certifications or certifications in related technologies.
• Experience working with global stakeholders and distributed technology teams.
