About Us:Gateway Supply is a leading provider of HVAC and plumbing supplies, dedicated to delivering exceptional customer service, promoting workplace safety, and supporting growth through innovation and teamwork. We’re seeking a motivated HVAC Outside Sales Representative to join our team and support HVAC contractors throughout the Ridgeland, SC area.
About the Role:As part of our Outside Sales team, you’ll be responsible for building and maintaining strong relationships with HVAC contractors across the Bluffton market. This is a customer-focused role where your organization, follow-through, and product knowledge help customers get what they need quickly and correctly.
Our Expectations:Build strong customer relationships by identifying new opportunities and growing existing accounts through consistent engagement and follow-upUnderstand customer needs using Gateway Supply’s full offering and vendor partnerships to recommend the right solutions for the jobFacilitate purchases and deliveries by coordinating with internal teams (inside sales, purchasing, and delivery) to support efficient order fulfillment and customer satisfactionStay current on product knowledge, market trends, and competitor activity to position Gateway Supply as a trusted supplierTrack sales performance and meet or exceed monthly sales targets and performance metrics

Requirements:Minimum 2+ years of outside sales experience in the HVAC supply industry (required)Strong knowledge of HVAC and mechanical systems is a plusExcellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skillsAbility to build and maintain long-term customer relationshipsComfortable working independently and as part of a teamValid driver’s license and reliable transportationHigh school diploma or equivalent required; college degree preferred
Schedule / Work Location:Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PMWork location: On the road
