This role involves assisting customers at the register and sales floor, handling cash transactions, stocking merchandise, and maintaining a clean, safe, and organized store. The Customer Service Representative will be assisting in all areas of the store. Key Responsibilities
- Greet and assist customers in a friendly, professional manner
- Operate POS systems to process fuel, merchandise and age-restricted product transactions
- Accurately count cash drawers at the beginning and end of shifts
- Stock shelves, coolers, and displays; rotate inventory as needed
- Maintain cleanliness of the store, restrooms and forecourt areas
- Support tobacco, car wash and general store operations
- Communicate with team members using store communication tools (i.e. walkie-talkies)
- Follow safety protocols and store procedures in a camera-monitored environment
- Prior customer service or retail experience preferred
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-traffic environment and 'hustle' when busy
- Ability to stand and work on your feet for an entire 8-hour shift
- Ability to lift, carry, and move products and materials (typically up to 30-40 lbs)
- Comfortable using carts and other basic equipment for stocking
