This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Business Analyst to act as the primary liaison between IT and key business units. In this role, you will lead requirement gathering initiatives, design functional use cases, and oversee comprehensive system testing workflows across major enterprise projects. It offers an ideal project environment for a structured BA with strong cross-functional leadership and stakeholder presentation skills.
Here’s what you’ll be doing:Acting as the primary IT liaison across multiple business units to support key business processes, applications, and process redesign initiativesGathering, analyzing, and documenting detailed business, functional, and use case requirements for large-scale projectsProviding functional domain expertise to development teams throughout the system design, build, and construction project phasesDeveloping and executing end-to-end system test plans, test conditions, test scripts, and test cases to ensure solution qualityPreparing and delivering clear, organized project status reviews and presentations to key stakeholders, process owners, and business leadersCoordinating and overseeing the deliverables of supporting Business Analysts on multi-faceted enterprise initiatives
Here’s what our ideal candidate has:Proven track record in detailed requirements gathering, business process mapping, and functional design documentation for IT projectsHands-on experience developing comprehensive system test plans, conditions, and execution scriptsStrong background applying standard project management methods, business systems standards, and structured analysis toolsExceptional stakeholder management, presentation, and cross-functional leadership abilitiesAbility to work on-site for the duration of the 6-month contract engagement
Preferred Qualifications:Familiarity with workflow modeling tools such as Microsoft VisioExperience with SQL querying, data visualization tools, or injury claims management systems
