This hospital provides comprehensive surgical services with established anesthesia protocols designed to support quality patient care delivery. The facility maintains modern anesthesia capabilities and organized perioperative workflows to support anesthesia practice across multiple operating rooms. Anesthesiologist coverage is sought on an ongoing basis to address current staffing needs within the Anesthesia Department.

The assignment is located in Dunkirk, a community situated along the shores of Lake Erie in western New York. The area offers a range of attractions, including the Dunkirk Lighthouse and Veterans Museum, the City Pier, and the Chautauqua County Fairgrounds. Clinicians on assignment may also find interest in nearby outdoor and cultural pursuits, including marina access, a drive-in theater, and a boardwalk marketplace.

The anesthesiologist will provide comprehensive anesthesia services during 8-hour day shifts, with the potential to remain on-site up to 10 hours until cases are complete. Call coverage is required, including weeknight and weekend pager call, with the clinician responsible for managing their own cases when on call. Board certification is required for this locum tenens assignment, and temporary privileges are available within 30 to 60 days.
