Founding CTO / Technical Co-Founder – Microwave Power Beaming & Rectenna Systems
Location: Bengaluru, India (Flexible)

Urja Dart is an early-stage deep-tech startup working on wireless power transmission, with a near-term focus on microwave power beaming and rectenna-based receiving systems.
Our long-term vision is to build technologies that can enable energy delivery without conventional wired infrastructure — across remote terrestrial locations, airborne platforms, and future space-based applications.
We are at the earliest stage of company building, and are looking for a technical co-founder who can help define, develop, and eventually lead the core technology from the ground up. What We Are Looking For
We are seeking a strong technical builder who can take ownership of the end-to-end power beaming stack — from energy conversion and RF/microwave generation to free-space transmission, beam control, and rectenna-based reception.
This role is best suited for someone who is comfortable working across disciplines, thinking from first principles, and solving hard engineering problems independently. Areas of Work

Microwave / RF Engineering Antenna Engineering Power Electronics Wireless Power Transfer Electromagnetics Electrical Engineering Applied Physics Aerospace / Space Systems Engineering PhysicsDirect experience in wireless power transmission is valuable, but not mandatory. Strong ownership, technical depth, and the ability to figure things out independently matter more. A Quick Note on Stage
This is not a traditional salaried position.
We are looking for a genuine founding partner, not someone seeking a side project. Full-time commitment is important, especially at this stage of company building.
Candidates who are currently in service or employed elsewhere and are looking to transition later, after funding, may not be the right fit for this role. What We Value
