Job PostingScheels Company Goals:We strive to be the best retailer in the USA in the eyes and minds of our customers, associates, and business partners.What We Commit To – Our Employee Ownership Values:Delivering a Personalized WOW Customer ExperienceHaving a Team-First, Winning MentalityLearning and Adapting to Constant ChangeTaking Pride in Our Work and Thinking Like OwnersExpecting Honesty and Integrity in All That We DoResponsibilities:Prepare different types of food, drinks, and ingredients, including candy, baked goods, and fudge, for sale to customersPerform all Barista, Café, and Fuzziwigs Candy Shop functions, which may include deli line, food case, barista, grill, ice cream, baked goods, fudge, and other duties as assigned by the Café Manager and SupervisorMaintain working knowledge of Café recipes, beverages, and prepared foodsMeet deadlines for fudge production and customer requestsFollow all food safety guidelines by Scheels, State, and Local OrdinancesEnsure all products are received and stored according to Standard Operating GuidelinesEnsure Scheels Cashier Guidelines are followed as it pertains to Café registersManage and support side work, stocking, daily and detailed cleaning schedules, including machines and equipment, and opening and closing proceduresMaintain an orderly and exceptionally clean appearance of personal workspace and surrounding areas, including dining areasMust be able to perform repetitive fudge production processes, which include stirring, pulling, and cuttingAbility to speak effectively before groups of customers and employees of the organizationAbility to read and interpret documents such as operating and maintenance instructions, safety rules, and procedure manualsAbility to work assigned schedule, which may include varied hours, evenings, weekends, and holidaysCompensation:Earn $20.00 per hour plus GREAT Associate Discount on all in store purchases.Schedule:Must be flexible to work assigned schedule between 9a.m. and 9p.m., Monday through Saturday, 10a.m. and 6p.m., Sunday. Schedule may include varied hours, evenings, weekends, and holidays, must be available minimum of every other weekend or 2 weekends a month. Average hours per week is 20 hours.Education & Experience:High school education, or up to one month of related experience or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience.Physical Requirements/Lifting Requirements:Please be aware that our food may contain or come in contact with common allergens such as dairy, eggs, wheat, soybeans, tree nuts, peanuts, fish, and other potential allergens.Must be able to sit, stand, bend at the waist, climb, stoop, kneel, crouch, reach, walk, push/pull, lift, talk, and hear with or without reasonable accommodation.Heavy work – Exerting up to 100 pounds of force occasionally, and/or up to 50 pounds of force frequently, and/or up to 20 pounds of force constantly to move objects.Scheels cares about the health and safety of our Associates.
