Downtown New York City mid-sized trading firm seeking a Trading Operations Engineer for technical operations support.You will sit on the trading desk and be a vital part of the technical operations processes, while also being part of the Technology team. Your tasks will be split between desk facing activities and light coding.
Responsibilities include::• First point of contact for traders• Install, configure and monitor critical trading applications• Incident management via ticketing system and documentation• Collaborate with developers for all operational processes supporting trading applications
Required skills:- Linux experience is required2-5 years experience in a Trading Operations Engineer is optimal, but will also consider those with no experience in the trading industry.Devops roles in tech would receive consideration. xzbcwsv Will train from the ground up on trading-specific knowledge, but candidates must come in with experience in Python, SQL, and bash scripting on Linux.
