Selections Coordinator

The Selections Coordinator guides homeowners through choosing the interior and exterior finishes for their new home or remodel. This role works closely with homeowners, plan designers, vendors, and our construction team to ensure selections are accurately documented, aligned with project plans and budgets, and completed on schedule.
We’re looking for someone who enjoys helping customers, understands how design decisions affect construction, and can keep multiple projects and details organized.
Key Responsibilities
• Guide homeowners through the selections process, clearly explaining options, allowances, upgrades, deadlines, and next steps.• Schedule and coordinate selection meetings with homeowners, designers, and vendors.• Coordinate with plan designers to verify that selections are reflected accurately in the plans and that design changes are communicated.• Manage interior and exterior selections, including appliances, cabinetry, countertops, flooring, tile, plumbing fixtures, lighting, hardware, paint, and exterior finishes.• Obtain, review, and maintain vendor selection records, proposals, specifications, and homeowner approvals.• Verify alignment between vendor documents, homeowner selections, project plans, contract specifications, and allowances; resolve discrepancies before final approval.• Track communicate budget impacts, and coordinate selection-related change orders with team and clients• Monitor deadlines and follow up on outstanding decisions, documentation, and sign-offs to support construction schedules.• Communicate finalized selections and revisions to the construction team, vendors, and suppliers.• Maintain organized, current records in Buildertrend and company files.• Help resolve selection-related questions, product availability issues, and reselections during construction.• Assist with model home and spec home selections and maintain organized showroom samples and product resources.
Qualifications
• Two or more years of experience in residential construction, interior design, selections coordination, or a related field preferred.• Working knowledge of residential building materials, finishes, and design concepts.• Ability to read and review floor plans, specifications, and vendor documents.• Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and follow-through.• Clear communication skills and a professional, customer-focused approach.• Ability to manage multiple projects, budgets, and deadlines.• Buildertrend experience is a plus.
**Work Environment**
Primarily office- and showroom-based, with occasional travel to vendor showrooms, model homes, and active construction sites. xzbcwsv The position involves regular computer use, customer meetings, and handling product samples.
