This role is essential to maintaining a clean, safe, and comfortable environment for residents, visitors, and staff. The ideal candidate takes pride in creating a welcoming atmosphere and understands the importance of cleanliness in a healthcare setting.Essential DutiesClean and maintain resident rooms, bathrooms, hallways, and common areasClean public spaces including lobbies, restrooms, drinking fountains, and floorsDust and sanitize handrails and other high-touch surfacesClean walls, mirrors, windows, light fixtures, towel bars, and dispensersEmpty trash containers and replace liners as neededSweep, mop, and maintain floors throughout the facilityFollow all safety procedures, including proper use of caution signs and chemical storageOperate housekeeping equipment and cleaning supplies according to manufacturer guidelinesKeep housekeeping carts, supply areas, and equipment clean and organizedReport resident safety concerns promptly to facility leadershipNotify the Director of Housekeeping when supplies need replenishingDemonstrate excellent customer service and professionalismManage time effectively and complete assignments efficientlyWork independently and as part of a team to meet facility cleanliness standardsQualificationsHigh school diploma or equivalent preferredPrevious housekeeping experience preferred; healthcare or long-term care experience is a plusAbility to follow instructions and safety guidelinesStrong attention to detail and commitment to cleanlinessGood communication and interpersonal skillsReliable, dependable, and team-orientedApply today and join a team that values your contributions while helping create a clean, safe, and comfortable home for our residents.We are an equal opportunity employer.
