ResponsibilitiesPrepare detailed cost estimates, quantity takeoffs, and bid proposals.Review construction drawings, specifications, and project documents.Solicit and evaluate subcontractor and supplier bids.Develop accurate budgets for labor, materials, equipment, and subcontracted work.Coordinate with project managers, field teams, clients, and subcontractors.Identify cost-saving opportunities, scope gaps, and potential project risks.Support projects through bidding, negotiations, and project handoff.
Qualifications5+ years experience in commercial construction estimating.Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and pricing.Ability to independently manage estimates and multiple bids.Experience with subcontractor solicitation, bid leveling, and quantity takeoffs.Strong communication, organization, and attention to detail.
