- Setting: Short Term Acute Care Hospital travel assignment
- Operate computed tomography (CT) equipment to produce diagnostic cross-sectional images
- Perform CT imaging procedures and related imaging services, including general radiography and fluoroscopy as needed
- Produce sagittal and coronal reformatted images for radiologist interpretation
- Use PACS and teleradiology systems to transfer images to the appropriate location
- Maintain accurate records, files and billing information, ensuring HIPAA and patient confidentiality
- Perform routine equipment maintenance and assist with supply inventory; participate in quality control as assigned
- ARRT registration in Radiologic Technology with CT (R.T.(R)(CT) or R.T.(R)) – Required
- ARRT-Computed Tomography (ARRT-CT) Advanced Certification – Required in OR and HI; preferred in CA
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from an approved vendor per policy – Required
- Venipuncture certification – Preferred
- Minimum 2 years of recent radiology/CT experience; Associate degree in Radiologic Technology preferred
- Current nursing license per the state of assignment – Required
