About the Role

We are looking for a detail-oriented Medical Editor/Reviewer to ensure the quality check, scientific accuracy, clarity, consistency, and compliance of healthcare communications. The candidate should have a thorough understanding of medical therapies, pharmaceutical communication, and editorial best practices, with the ability to work closely with medical writers, creative teams, and account management.

Key Responsibilities

• Review and edit medical, promotional, and educational healthcare content for scientific accuracy, grammar, clarity, consistency, and compliance.
• Fact-check medical claims and verify references against source literature.
• Ensure adherence to AMA style, client guidelines, and regulatory requirements.
• Edit a wide range of materials including visual aids, slide decks, websites, emails, social media content, manuscripts, abstracts, posters, and patient education materials.
• Collaborate with medical writers, creative teams, strategists, and account managers to deliver high-quality inputs within timelines.
• Maintain version control and ensure consistency across projects.
• Support quality assurance by identifying editorial and scientific inconsistencies before client submission.
• Efficient in creating annotated reference binders

Requirements

• Master’s degree in Pharmacy, Pharmacology, Pharm.D, or equivalent qualifications are an advantage.
• 2-5 years of experience in med-com editing, medical communications, healthcare advertising, or the pharmaceutical industry.
• Strong knowledge of medical terminology, clinical research, and scientific publications.
• Excellent editing, proofreading, and attention to detail.
• Familiarity with AMA style and medical referencing.
• Strong communication, organizational, and multitasking skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel).
