Family Medicine Physician - Practice Succession (Partner/Owner)
Privia Health · United States
Job Description
Family Medicine or Internal Medicine Physician – Practice Succession (Silver Spring, MD)
Step into a unique practice succession and ownership opportunity with an established private clinic in Silver Spring, MD. We are seeking a Family Medicine or Internal Medicine physician to partner with Dr. Monica Bali and execute a seamless long-term transition. Designed for an entrepreneurial physician seeking true practice ownership, this role offers direct control over your earnings, immediate schedule flexibility, and a clear path to taking over the business.
- Turnkey Ownership & Succession Track: Step directly into a ready-made clinical platform with an established patient base. You will earn a 35% equity stake in the practice over 5 years, along with the first right of refusal to buy out the practice upon Dr. Bali's exit.
- Direct Equity Revenue Model: Practice under a pure productivity model where you keep 100% of your generated revenue minus a share of fixed, highly predictable overhead expenses ($235K total annual practice operating costs).
- Flexible Staggered Schedule: Enjoy maximum schedule autonomy as you build your panel. Start with 1 day per week (Thursdays) and systematically scale your days (such as M/W/F or T/W/Sat) as clinical volume and your panel expand.
- Focused Adult Patient Panel: Provide comprehensive primary and preventive care to an established adult and adolescent demographic (ages 16+).
- Streamlined Clinical Operations: Practice efficiently with the support of 2 dedicated Medical Assistants and an established administrative framework, allowing you to focus on high-quality care and business growth.
Qualifications:
- MD or DO with Board Certification/Eligibility in Family Medicine or Internal Medicine.
- Seeking an entrepreneurial, business-minded physician eager for private practice ownership and long-term autonomy.
- Comfortable treating adult and adolescent populations (ages 16+).
- Multilingual capabilities (English, Hindi, or Punjabi) are a plus, but not required.
- State licensure and board certification are required.
