£12.71 - £13.50 per hour DOE Monday to Thursday, 8.00am - 4.30pm, Friday, 8.00am - 3.30pm Temp-to-Perm opportunity
365 People is proud to be recruiting on behalf of a specialist manufacturing business based in LE4. Due to continued growth and increased production demand, they are looking to add an experienced Laser Operator to their team.

The Role
This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled Laser operator with experience in operating CNC laser cutting machines within a manufacturing environment.
You will work from engineering drawings to manufacture parts to tight tolerances while maintaining high standards of quality and productivity.

Key Responsibilities
Operate CNC laser cutting machines safely and efficiently
Load, run, and monitor CNC laser programs
Adjust machine parameters to ensure optimal cutting performance
Read and interpret engineering drawings and job specifications
Carry out quality checks on finished components
Identify and resolve minor machine or cutting issues
Work closely with production and engineering teams to meet targets
Maintain a clean, safe, and organised working environment

Requirements
Previous experience as a Laser Machinist / CNC Laser Operator
Bystronic experience preferable
Ability to run CNC laser cutting machinery confidently
Strong understanding of engineering drawings and measurements
Experience working with sheet metal or similar materials advantageous
High attention to detail and commitment to quality standards
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Reliable, proactive, and safety-conscious approach
