JD : Project Manager – Wind Projects (IPP) – Mumbai

Qualification: Full-time B.Tech (Electrical / Mechanical / Civil)

Industry Preference: Renewable Energy (IPP preferred)

Key Responsibilities:

• Proven track record of executing wind projects (at least 100 MW cumulative capacity) , preferably for IPPs.
• Define, plan, and execute the entire lifecycle of Wind Power Projects: pre-construction, construction, commissioning, and handover.
• Develop and maintain detailed project plans , timelines, and cost estimates.
• Lead and manage multidisciplinary site teams including civil, electrical, and WTG installation contractors.
• Coordinate with Engineering, Procurement, and external vendors to resolve all project issues related to contracts, logistics, design, and execution .
• Drive cross-functional discussions with regulatory bodies and local administration for smooth project implementation.
• Ensure all HSE protocols are followed rigorously during construction and commissioning.
• Conduct regular project review meetings and communicate effectively with senior management and internal stakeholders.
• Track key project metrics and ensure that the project is delivered on time and within budget .
• Manage project risks, escalate critical issues, and implement mitigation strategies.
• Maintain all project documentation and ensure knowledge transfer across teams.

Key Skills & Attributes:

• Experience in WTG installation, transmission line execution, and substation commissioning.
• Strong interpersonal and stakeholder engagement skills.
• Ability to work with multidisciplinary teams and drive results under pressure.
• Knowledge of wind resource assessment, micrositing, and turbine technology is an advantage.
• Excellent command over project management tools and reporting systems.
