Production Associate/Secondary Operator

Are you a dependable, detail-oriented team player looking for an opportunity in manufacturing? We are seeking Production Associates (Secondary Operators) on 1st shift (6am-2:30pm) . In this hands-on role, you'll perform a variety of secondary production operations, ensuring products meet quality standards and are ready for the next stage of manufacturing.

What You'll Do

• Perform deburring, flat sanding, micro-joint removal, drilling, tapping, threading, and other secondary operations with speed, accuracy, and safety.
• Read and interpret work orders, blueprints, and technical specifications.
• Inspect products to ensure quality and conformance to specifications.
• Maintain and replace tools as needed to meet production requirements.
• Record production and operational data accurately.
• Load and unload materials from carts, pallets, crates, and workstations.
• Place products on equipment or work surfaces for processing, inspection, or packaging.
• Move completed workpieces to the next stage of production.
• Support a clean, safe, and efficient work environment.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent required.
• Ability to read, understand, and communicate basic English.
• Basic math and counting skills.
• Ability to follow instructions and work effectively in a fast-paced production environment.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
• Reliable attendance and ability to work well within a team.
• Previous manufacturing or production experience is a plus but not required.

Physical Requirements

• Regularly lift and move up to 50 pounds.
• Ability to stand, bend, reach, and perform repetitive tasks throughout the shift.
• Strong near-vision skills to inspect parts and identify product details.
