Finance & Accounts Officer

Experience: 3-4 years Education: Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Commerce or related field Employment Type: Full-time We’re looking for a solid, hands-on Finance & Accounts person to handle day-to-day accounting and financial work in a busy digital marketing and advertising setup. You’ll need strong fundamentals, a good eye for detail, and the ability to deal comfortably with internal teams, clients, vendors and management. What you’ll be doing Run the daily accounting work – accounts payable, accounts receivable, invoicing, payments and reconciliations. Keep the books clean and up to date so every transaction is recorded properly and on time. Prepare and check monthly financial reports, MIS and management packs. Handle bank, vendor, customer and ledger reconciliations. Keep the day to day receivables, payables and outstanding invoices and followup on collections when needed. Support budgeting, forecasting, cash-flow tracking and basic financial planning. Make sure we stay compliant with accounting standards, GST, TDS and other statutory requirements. Deal with auditors, consultants, banks, vendors and other external people as required. Review expenses, purchase invoices, reimbursements and the supporting paperwork. Help with month-end and year-end closing. Maintain proper records and documentation so everything is ready for audit or compliance checks. Dig into the numbers and give management clear, useful insights and dashboards Work closely with operations, sales and account management so client projects and campaigns are tracked accurately from a finance point of view. Take on any other finance or accounting tasks that come up. Managing Meta and Google invoices, reconciliations and maintaining paid marketing budgets. What we’re looking for 3–4 years of relevant experience in finance and accounts. Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Commerce or a related field. Strong grip on accounting principles and everyday financial processes. Comfortable using accounting software / ERP systems and good with Excel. Solid understanding of GST, TDS, taxation, invoicing and statutory compliance. Good analytical and problem-solving skills, and you’re careful with the details. Clear communication and being able to work with different people. Can juggle multiple things and still meet deadlines in a fast-moving environment. Trustworthy, discreet and take ownership of financial information. Nice to have Experience in digital marketing, advertising, media, a creative agency or something similar. Familiarity with project-based billing, retainers, campaign spends, digital ad costs and agency / vendor payments. Having worked in a growing or fast-paced agency environment.
