Job Description:

Demonstrates comprehension of cash posting policies and banking processes to facilitate the reconciliation of outstanding items using ReconNet. Uses independent judgment to research discrepancies and propose corrections to the accounting records. Identifies items needing further research by the entity. Makes recommendations to the Reconciliation Supervisor. Prepares accurate Outstanding Item Reports for each entity that document and communicate the steps to be taken by the entity. Develops and maintains productive team-oriented relationships through individual contacts and group meetings. Demonstrates solid knowledge and application of generally accepted accounting principles. Collaborates with Physician Groups, PFS, and Accounting departments to adjust general ledger and patient accounts. Ensures the accuracy and integrity of financial records through diligent reconciliation processes. Contributes to the overall financial efficiency and accuracy of the organization. Other duties as assigned.

Schedule/Shift:

  • Remote Monday-Friday 8am-5pm est

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

  • Ability to problem solve [Required]
  • Professional and effective in communication skills [Required]
  • Demonstrate a strong attention to detail and thoroughness [Required]
  • Effectively utilize available and relevant technical tools and resources (e.g. Microsoft Excel and other relevant software) [Required]
  • Experience with the cash posting process for patient and insurance payments and/or with the reconciliation of cash receipts. [Preferred]
  • Familiarity with business concepts, practices, and procedures [Preferred]

  • Bachelor's [Required]

$45,196.93 - $84,071.39
