Senior Technical Business Analyst - Information Technology

The role is responsible for bridging the gap between business needs and technical solutions. This role involves gathering and documenting business requirements, facilitating integration processes, and supporting the development of software applications through third parties. The candidate will work closely with internal teams and external technology partners to ensure successful project delivery.

Job Task

Major Responsibilities

Requirements & Specification

• Gather and document business requirements from Digital, Business, Risk and Finance stakeholders


• Proactively engage business stakeholders to drive requirement sign-off; escalate where stakeholder availability blocks progress


• Translate requirements into technical specifications for technology development vendors and integration partners.


• Validate new requirements against contracted partner scope before submission, flagging out-of-scope asks to IT leadership before they reach the partner


• Conduct impact assessments of proposed changes on business operations and existing systems

Delivery Coordination

• Confirm requirements and specifications are correctly understood and reflected by partners before and during delivery


• Coordinate across multiple technology partners (Core Loan Systems, Accounting System, integration partners) where a requirement spans more than one


• Maintain requirement and delivery documentation for audit and governance purposes

UAT & Adoption

• Plan and lead UAT for new features, integrations, and system changes


• Develop change management plans to drive adoption of new systems/processes among end-users


• Provide first-line support to end-users post-delivery, escalating to the relevant partner where needed

Process & Improvement

• Identify opportunities for process improvement and automation within existing business workflows


• Maintain a working understanding of the Core Loan Systems and integration landscape to assess feasibility of new requirements

Eligibility Criteria

Education

• Bachelor’s or Master’s in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field


• 4–8 years in business analysis, digital transformation, or software delivery


• Strong analytical skills; ability to translate ambiguous business needs into specific, testable requirements


• Experience working with outsourced/third-party development or integration partners and internal teams


• Familiarity with Agile methodologies and SDLC


• Excellent stakeholder management, balancing business teams with limited bandwidth against vendors bound by contractual scope
