Transport Planner

Red Recruitment are currently recruiting for an experienced Transport Supervisor to join an established logistics company specialising in the transportation of palletised goods . This is a full-time, permanent position offering up to £35,000 per annum , with a key role in planning and coordinating the daily transport operation, supervising drivers and ensuring freight is processed efficiently for onward delivery. Key Responsibilities: Assigning daily collections to drivers. Planning and routing palletised deliveries for the following day. Ensuring collected freight is safely unloaded and loaded onto outbound trailers. Ensuring all freight is correctly scanned and secured for onward transportation. Arranging subcontractor loads where required. Liaising with the sales and customer service teams to ensure customer expectations are met. Investigating and reporting freight damages and helping to prevent repeat issues. Monitoring driver attendance and timekeeping. Supporting and maintaining high standards of Health
