Qualifications and Experience:

• Current Michigan School Social Worker license required; Limited License (LLMSW) candidates will also be considered.
• Experience supporting children or adolescents in educational or mental health settings is a plus.
• Strong communication, advocacy, and organizational skills.
• Ability to build rapport with students, families, and colleagues from diverse backgrounds.
• Commitment to ethical practice and ongoing professional development.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Provide direct social-emotional and behavioral interventions to students, individually or in groups.
• Conduct assessments and help develop individualized support plans.
• Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and other professionals to ensure a supportive learning environment.
• Offer crisis intervention and connect families to community resources as needed.
• Serve as a resource in addressing attendance, truancy, and other barriers to student success.
• Document services and progress in accordance with school and state guidelines.
