Position OverviewThe Senior Commercial Lender will be responsible for developing and managing a diversified commercial loan portfolio, serving as a trusted advisor to local business owners and real estate investors. This role requires a well-rounded generalist who is comfortable handling both Commercial Real Estate (CRE) and Commercial & Industrial (C&I) lending relationships.Our client is seeking a seasoned banker who brings strong credit skills, relationship depth in the Waco market, and a long-term commitment mindset.
Key ResponsibilitiesDevelop and manage a commercial loan portfolio consisting of CRE and C&I relationshipsGenerate new business through prospecting, networking, and community involvementStructure, underwrite, and present credit opportunities in accordance with bank policyMaintain strong asset quality through ongoing portfolio managementServe as a trusted financial partner to business clientsCollaborate with credit and executive leadership to support sound growth
Qualifications10+ years of commercial lending experienceStrong background as a generalist lender (CRE and C&I)Formal credit training and/or meaningful credit analysis experience requiredDemonstrated ability to structure and analyze complex credit relationshipsProven business development and portfolio management skillsStrong ties to the Waco market
