PRACTICE OVERVIEW

A well-established health system in Central Indiana is seeking a BC/BE Gastroenterologist to join its GI Hospitalist team. The incoming physician will join an established Gastroenterology group consisting of four Gastroenterologists and two Nurse Practitioners.

This is a dedicated inpatient opportunity offering a 1 week on / 1 week off schedule and a broad range of inpatient GI consultative and procedural responsibilities.

PRACTICE HIGHLIGHTS

• Dedicated GI Hospitalist position

• 1 week on / 1 week off schedule

• Adult inpatient consult service

• Join an established team of 4 Gastroenterologists and 2 Nurse Practitioners

• Perform inpatient upper and lower endoscopy

• Outpatient scope access available

• Enteral access procedures

• Management of GI emergencies including variceal and ulcer bleeds, food impactions, and volvulus

• EUS and ERCP skills are helpful but not required

HOSPITAL & REGIONAL PRACTICE

The incoming Gastroenterologist will practice at a full-service, 204-bed hospital with an adjacent outpatient surgery center.

• 24/7 Hospitalist and Nocturnist coverage
