To strengthen our Career Development and Placement initiatives , we are looking for an experienced and dynamic professional who can lead corporate relations, placement strategies and employer partnerships to enhance student career outcomes.

Position: Placement Head

Number of Positions: 1

Experience Required: 7–10 years in placements, corporate relations, recruitment, HR or career services.

Location: Salt Lake Centre, Kolkata

Key Responsibilities & Requirements: Develop and implement effective placement strategies aligned with institutional goals. Build and maintain strong relationships with companies, recruitment agencies and HR professionals. Establish corporate partnerships and create new opportunities for students. Identify and facilitate job opportunities, internships and apprenticeship programmes. Plan and execute campus recruitment drives, job fairs and employer engagement activities. Collaborate with companies for recruitment requirements and talent acquisition initiatives. Lead employability enhancement initiatives including resume building, interview preparation and career readiness training. Maintain placement records, reports and performance analytics. Drive placement targets and ensure continuous improvement in placement outcomes.

Desired Skills & Competencies: Strong corporate networking and relationship-management skills. Excellent communication, negotiation and presentation abilities. Strong understanding of recruitment processes and industry expectations. Ability to develop strategic partnerships with organisations. Leadership skills with the ability to guide placement teams. Target-oriented approach with strong planning and execution capability. Professional approach towards managing students, recruiters and institutional stakeholders.
