Scope
The Instrumentation, Control & Electrical (IC&E) contractor will execute the overall workflow and lead all aspects of work across the Bakken, Eastern, Central, and Denbury assets to create Cause and Effects, Single-Line Drawings, Powerline Mapping, and Power Relay Setting documentation.
Within the Permian Basin, this role will serve as the program controller, with primary responsibility for progress tracking and program reporting. Additional responsibilities will only be assigned as aligned with the existing Permian IC&E teams executing these programs.
Specific responsibilities include cost tracking and reporting, schedule coordination, deliverable reviews to ensure applicable standards are met, contractor scheduling, and operations interface management.
The IC&E Coordinator will serve as the primary point of contact for asset automation and electrical teams and will coordinate work among operations, automation, electrical, engineering contractor, and asset teams. This position will be located in Midland, TX.
Workflow Oversight
  • Oversee the entire workflow to ensure successful completion of all deliverables.
  • Engage operations, automation teams, electricians, Quest, engineering contractors, and asset teams as needed to advance the workflow, troubleshoot issues, and resolve tension points.
Cost, Schedule, and Progress Tracking
  • Provide monthly cost updates and outlooks, including site unit-cost analysis.
  • Provide monthly schedule updates and outlooks.
  • Provide monthly progress reports, including site and deliverable status.
Project Schedule Coordination
  • Maintain progress ahead of the mechanical workflow to ensure Cause and Effects documentation is available when required.
  • Follow the mechanical workflow to establish Single-Line Drawings and Powerline Mapping, when required.
Conditions of Satisfaction Approval
  • Review and approve Conditions of Satisfaction (CoS) before allowing workflow progression, ensuring drawing and work-product standards are met.
  • Engage appropriate teams to correct deviations and incorporate lessons learned from issues identified during CoS reviews.
Site Pack Development
  • Compile all information required to support deliverable creation before workflow initiation.
Contractor Oversight
  • Facilitate contractor access to sites, including coordination with Operations for permitting.
  • Direct contractor activities, including site lists and schedules.
  • Oversee deliverable quality.
  • Steward and approve contractor costs.
Engineering and Operations Interface
  • Establish and maintain relationships with asset engineering and operations teams.
  • Maintain regular contact to understand and appropriately resolve issues, requests, and tension points.
  • Ensure Management of Change under OIMS 7.1 and Documentation Management under OIMS 4.1 fully integrates Foundations deliverables upon completion.
Preferences
  • A certified electrician is desired but not a requirement
