Job OverviewA law firm seeks a Real Estate Attorney in Washington, D.C., to join its dedicated real estate department. The ideal candidate brings over five years of transactional experience, with a strong focus on commercial real estate acquisition, financing, and development. This role offers a collegial environment with significant opportunities for professional growth and advancement within a large, established platform.
DutiesManage complex commercial real estate transactions, including acquisitions, sales, and financing.Oversee the development aspects of real estate projects, ensuring compliance and strategic alignment.Draft, review, and negotiate transactional documents and related legal instruments.
RequirementsMinimum of five years of experience in real estate transactional law.Demonstrated expertise in commercial real estate acquisition, sale, and financing.Admitted to the D.C. Bar or eligible for admission.
EducationStrong academic background with a Juris Doctor degree from an accredited law school.
CertificationsActive bar admission in the District of Columbia.
SkillsImmediate transferable skills in commercial real estate transactions.Ability to handle multiple matters with attention to detail and strategic thinking.
