A-Line Staffing is now hiring a Systems Test Engineer in Longmont, CO. The Systems Test Engineer would be working for a Fortune 500 company and has career growth potential. This would be full time / 40+ hours per week.

Systems Test Engineer Compensation Pay: $42–$48 per hour, based on experience Benefits available after 90 days 401(k) with company match after 1 year, subject to eligibility dates Highlights Contract assignment with potential for extension or direct hire based on attendance, performance, and business needs. 100% onsite in Longmont, CO. Candidates must be able to work onsite. Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM.

Hands-on testing role focused on executing existing test scripts, with limited modifications rather than developing new test methodologies. Supports multiple projects and products in a dynamic laboratory environment. Approximately 80% testing and 20% troubleshooting, monitoring, analysis, and reporting. Storage industry experience is not required.

Responsibilities

• Execute existing test scripts and follow established testing processes.
• Conduct hands-on testing using laboratory equipment, including VIAVI and LeCroy tools.
• Monitor test execution and troubleshoot systems as needed.
• Support multiple projects and products while managing competing priorities.
• Manage laboratory equipment and support testing activities.
• Review, organize, analyze, and report test results.
• Maintain historical test data and store results in Excel.
• Archive files in SharePoint and retrieve test information for internal teams and customers.
• Support current manual testing activities and contribute to efforts to increase test automation.

Requirements

• Ability to follow established test procedures and execute existing test scripts.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to troubleshoot hardware and software issues.
• Ability to manage large volumes of test data and support multiple projects.
• Ability to multitask and adapt in a dynamic laboratory environment.
• Ability to work onsite in Longmont, CO, Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM.

Preferred Qualifications

• Educational background in Computer Science, Information Technology, Electrical Engineering, or a related engineering discipline.
• Recent graduates with a strong aptitude for learning and adapting are encouraged to apply.
• Basic Linux proficiency.
• Trace analysis experience, preferably with PCIe and/or NVMe technologies.
• Understanding of NVMe specifications and computer systems.
• Hardware and software debugging skills.
• General understanding of technical specifications and test environments.
• Experience with data analysis and reporting.
• Familiarity with Excel, SharePoint, and Microsoft 365 applications.
• Coding or scripting experience is a plus but is not a primary requirement.
