Finance Officer (Pakistan)

The Aga Khan Agency for Habitat is recruiting Finance Officer , based in Pakistan.

The successful candidates will:

• Prepare, review, and post accounting entries in the ERP system (MDS) by verifying supporting documentation, ensuring accurate coding of grants, projects, activities, locations, and cost centres, and returning incomplete or inaccurate payment requests for correction to maintain the accuracy and integrity of financial records.


• Facilitate timely payments to suppliers, contractors, and staff by coordinating the cheque approval and signing process, presenting payment documents to authorized signatories, and responding to queries to ensure compliance with organizational financial procedures.


• Manage daily cash receipts, payments, and petty cash operations by maintaining proper documentation, collecting funds from staff and communities, making bank deposits, and processing urgent petty cash payments in accordance with financial policies.
