Job Description Manage all phases of ground-up retail, restaurant, and QSR construction projects from preconstruction through final turnover Develop and maintain project budgets, schedules, forecasts, and cost controls Lead subcontractor procurement, buyout, and contract administration activities Coordinate with clients, architects, engineers, consultants, franchise representatives, and subcontractors Manage RFIs, submittals, change orders, permits, and project documentation Monitor project performance and proactively mitigate schedule, budget, and quality risks Oversee project financial reporting, forecasting, and cost management Lead project meetings and maintain strong stakeholder communication throughout the project lifecycle Partner closely with Superintendents to ensure efficient field execution and resource allocation Ensure projects comply with contract requirements, safety standards, and quality expectations Manage project closeout activities, punch list completion, and client turnover Build and maintain strong relationships with clients and industry partners MPI does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, national origin, age, disability, veteran status, marital status, or based on an individual's status in any group or class protected by applicable federal, state or local law. The Successful Applicant 2+ years of experience as a Project Manager in commercial construction Proven experience managing ground-up retail, restaurant, or QSR construction projects Strong understanding of project scheduling, budgeting, forecasting, and cost controls Experience managing subcontractors, contracts, and change orders Ability to read and interpret construction drawings, specifications, and contracts Strong leadership, communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills Proficiency with construction management software and Microsoft Office Suite Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field preferred What's on Offer Competitive base salary with performance-based bonus opportunities Comprehensive medical, dental, and vision benefits 401(k) with company match Strong pipeline of retail, restaurant, and QSR projects Long-term career stability with a growing commercial contractor Opportunity to work with nationally recognized brands and franchise operators Collaborative culture with strong leadership support
