If you join our team, they will . </p> Responsibilities <p> Under the supervision of a physician, provides direct diagnostic, therapeutic, and preventive health care services to patients in orthopedic specialty care services. This added emphasis is the catalyst for faster healing, better clinical results, and improved outcomes for our patients. We use only the latest technology, surgical techniques, and rehabilitation methods. </p><p> NURSE PRACTITIONER ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: </p><ul><li> Surgical First Assist </li><li> Clinic work – New Patients, Follow-Ups, Pre-Ops, Post-Ops </li><li> Hold clinic when the physician is out of town </li><li> Managing and rounding on hospital inpatients </li><li> Some after hour and weekend calls requires </li></ul><p> NURSE PRACTITIONER REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS: </p><ul><li> Perform comprehensive and problem focused history and physical exams. </li><li> Formulate a treatment plan for specialty-specific problems, within scope of practice. </li><li> Implement therapeutic intervention for specific conditions when appropriate. </li><li> Exercise judgment on problems requiring consultation, referral, or evaluation by the supervising Orthopedic surgeon or other health care professionals </li><li> Order appropriate laboratory and diagnostic studies including but not limited to blood tests, x-ray, CT, MRI, and bone scans etc. </li><li> Must be able to assist in surgery, assist in rounding, write orders, assist with call, as directed. Evaluate and clarify clinical conditions, formulate, and implement a treatment or therapeutic plan for hospitalized patients, dictate discharge summaries, histories and physicals. </li> </ul> <br /> Qualifications <p></p><ul><li> Education: Master’s or Doctorate degree in Nursing from an accredited Nurse Practitioner program </li><li> Current, unrestricted RN License </li><li> Certified as a Nurse Practitioner (CRNP) by a nationally recognized certifying body. </li><li> Applicable State license as a CRNP (in state of practice) </li><li> DEA license </li><li> BLS through American Heart Association or American Red Cross </li><li> 5+ years of relevant experience </li></ul> USD $89,800.00/Yr. USD $160,400.00/Yr.
