MS General Contractor, based in Karachi, is hiring a Project Coordinator to oversee construction and interior fit-out projects, ensuring effective communication, timely delivery, and compliance with quality standards.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate a variety of residential, commercial and interior fit-out projects.


• Track project timelines, milestones and deliverables.


• Serve as a liaison between clients, architects, consultants, subcontractors and site supervisors.


• Review architectural, civil, MEP and interior drawings, bills of quantities and specifications.


• Manage procurement, vendor deliveries and on-site material requirements.


• Prepare daily and weekly progress reports and keep project documentation up-to-date.


• Monitor budgets, material usage and execution costs.


• Identify bottlenecks and arrange prompt corrective actions.


• Follow up on approvals, variations, inspections and handovers.


• Facilitate coordination between office management and field teams.

Who Should Apply

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, Architecture or related field (DAE with strong experience also considered).


• 3-5 years of experience in construction project coordination, preferably in interior fit-out and finishing works.


• Proficient in MS Excel, MS Project, AutoCAD and project reporting tools.


• Good grasp of construction drawings, BOQs, materials and site execution processes.


• Excellent communication, organization, multitasking and problem-solving abilities.


• Capable of handling multiple projects and meeting deadlines.
