Romark Logistics is seeking a safety-focused CDL Class A Short Haul Driver to support dependable freight movement throughout New Jersey region. If you are a professional truck driver, local Class A driver, regional driver, or shuttle driver who values steady work, modern logistics operations, and the opportunity to be home daily, this role offers a rewarding next move. You will represent a trusted logistics organization while delivering the responsive service customers count on.

What You Will Do:

• Safely operate Class A commercial vehicles on local, short-haul, regional, highway, and interstate routes while following DOT regulations and Romark safety standards.
• Transport freight efficiently between customer locations, warehouses, distribution centers, and company facilities, helping keep supply chains moving.
• Complete thorough pre-trip and post-trip tractor and trailer inspections, identify maintenance concerns, and report issues promptly.
• Secure, inspect, and deliver loads accurately while maintaining a strong commitment to freight quality, on-time performance, and customer service.
• Communicate professionally with dispatchers, warehouse teams, customers, and leadership regarding route status, delivery needs, and operational updates.
• Maintain electronic logs, trip reports, delivery documentation, and other records using onboard technology and mobile applications.
• Support trailer moves, equipment positioning, and refrigerated trailer operations when assigned, including monitoring temperature settings.

What You Bring:

• You are dependable, customer-focused, and able to work independently with minimal supervision.
• You hold a valid CDL Class A license, DOT Medical Card and can confidently operate tractor-trailers in urban, suburban, and highway environments.
• You demonstrate a strong understanding of DOT compliance, safe driving practices, hours-of-service requirements, and transportation regulations.
• You can conduct vehicle inspections, secure freight properly, and recognize conditions that may affect vehicle or load safety.
• You communicate clearly, manage time effectively, and take pride in representing your employer professionally at every stop.
• You are available for a flexible schedule that may include occasional overtime based on business needs.

Pay and Benefits:
