A globally recognized multidisciplinary engineering and design consultancy, is seeking an Associate Principal level Mechanical or Electrical Engineer to join its growing New York-area team.

The successful candidate will play a key role in work-winning activities, client engagement, and the delivery of technically complex multidisciplinary projects.
The role offers strong visibility internally and externally, with the opportunity to work alongside senior leadership and contribute directly to long-term regional growth initiatives.
Key ResponsibilitiesSupport business development and strategic growth initiatives across the New York market
Build and maintain strong client relationships
Lead or contribute to proposals, presentations, interviews, and bid submissionsRepresent the business at industry networking events and conferences
Collaborate across multidisciplinary engineering teams on complex projectsMentor and support junior engineering staffContribute to commercial strategy, risk management, and project performance oversight

Preferred QualificationsProfessional Engineer (PE) license preferredNCEES certification advantageousLEED accreditation beneficialStrong commercial awareness and understanding of project delivery risk

Expected compensation range is approximately $180k–$280k base salary depending on experience, technical background, and market alignment, alongside a highly competitive overall benefits package.
