  • About the Opportunity:
    We are a growing water damage, mold remediation, and property restoration company serving Southwest Florida, and we are looking for an exceptional Office Administrator / Customer Service Coordinator to become a key member of our team.

    This is much more than an answer the phone position. You will be the central point of communication between our customers, field technicians, field management, and office operations . Your ability to stay organized, communicate clearly, and keep jobs moving will directly impact our customers experience and our companys success.

    Restoration is a fast-paced business. Our customers are often calling because something unexpected has happened to their home or property. We need someone who can remain calm, compassionate, organized, and professional while gathering the right information and helping our team respond quickly.

    What Youll Do:

    Customer Service & Incoming Calls
    • Answer incoming telephone calls professionally and promptly.
    • Serve as the first point of contact for new and existing customers.
    • Ask the appropriate questions to qualify new leads and service calls .

    Scheduling & Job Coordination
    • Schedule new inspections and restoration projects.
    • Maintain and actively manage the companys daily and weekly job schedule.
    • Coordinate technicians, field management, appointments, job monitoring, and customer access.
    • Help prioritize emergency calls and time-sensitive projects.
    • Track jobs from the initial customer call through completion.
    • Follow up with customers regarding appointments and job progress.

    Office & Administrative Responsibilities
    • Maintain accurate customer and job information in company software.
    • Enter and update customer records and job notes.
    • Maintain organized electronic records and documentation.
    • Assist with emails, correspondence, spreadsheets, reports, and other administrative tasks.
    • Monitor company email and help ensure important communications receive timely responses.
    • Assist management with additional administrative and operational responsibilities as needed.

    What Were Looking For:
    The ideal candidate is someone who is extremely organized and takes pride in staying on top of the details .

    You should be comfortable having several things happening at the same time. The phone may be ringing, a technician may need information, a customer may have a question, and a new emergency job may need to be added to the schedule all at once.

    You dont need to know everything on day one, but you do need to be someone who can learn quickly, communicate well, take ownership, and figure things out.


    Required Qualifications

    • Professional verbal and written communication.
    • Able to maintain professional and compassionate communication in stressful situations
    • Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.

    • Dependable and punctual.
    • Ability to work independently while also functioning as part of a team.
    • Proficiency with Microsoft Outlook, Excel, Word, and other Microsoft Office applications .
    • Comfortable learning and working with multiple software platforms.
    Most importantly, were looking for someone who sees something that needs to be done and takes ownership of getting it done . Compensation: $17.00 - $22.00 per hour

The IICRC, originally named the International Institute of Carpet and Upholstery Cleaning Inc. (IICUC), was founded in 1972 by Ed York. Since starting in 1972, the IICRC has evolved into a global organization with more than 49,000 active Certified Technicians and more than 6,500 Certified Firms around the world.

    The IICRC is managed by its Board of Directors, which is composed of 15 industry leaders elected by the IICRCs Shareholders. The Board of Directors function is to represent the various interests of the applicants while leading the direction of the organization. The Board of Directors meets four times per year and is tasked with the responsibility of helping shape future policies of the organization and uphold the standards that help shape the industry.
