Sr. engineer – hardware design

Responsibilities

Understand product requirements and develop suitable hardware solutions. Design and develop Analog, Digital and Mixed-Signal circuits. Work with firmware/software teams for hardware-software integration. Perform prototype testing, validation, debugging and troubleshooting. Conduct root-cause analysis and implement corrective actions. Coordinate with cross-functional teams, suppliers and customers. Ensure project deliverables meet Time, Cost and Quality requirements. Support design reviews and guide junior engineers where required.

Qualifications

• BE/B. Tech – ECE, EEE, Electronics or equivalent.

Experience

• 3–12 years in Electronics Hardware Design & Development, preferably in Defence / Industrial / Rail / Healthcare / Retail Automation / Embedded Electronics.

Technical & Process Capabilities

Hands-on experience in Analog, Digital & Mixed-Signal circuit design. ORCAD schematic/layout and circuit simulation. Microcontrollers, FPGA, Discrete & Analog I/O. Communication protocols: SPI, UART, I2 C, CAN, RS-232/485, USB, Ethernet. Knowledge of PCB design, hardware testing and debugging. Familiarity with DFM, component selection, suppliers and manufacturing processes. Knowledge of reliability, thermal management and EMI/EMC. Experience with electronic measurement instruments. miliarity with MIL-STD-810, MIL-STD-461, JSS 55555, IEC/EN and FCC is desirable.
