Position Overview
We are seeking a Principal, Revenue Strategy & Analytics to lead the analytics foundation supporting enterprise revenue strategy and execution across Autodesk’s global go-to-market organization.
This role combines deep expertise in revenue analytics, business intelligence, data modeling, AI-enabled analytics, and strategic business partnership. You will own the GTM analytics framework, KPI governance, reporting standards, and analytical methodologies that enable trusted decision-making across Sales, Marketing, Renewals, Customer Success, Finance, and executive leadership.
You will also help shape the GTM Strategy AI roadmap and serve as a technical and analytical leader for the Revenue Strategy & Operations team, translating complex business questions into scalable analytical solutions and actionable insights.
Responsibilities
Own the GTM Revenue Analytics framework, including semantic data models, KPI definitions, reporting standards, and analytical methodologies across the customer lifecycle
Define scalable measurement frameworks for pipeline, bookings, revenue, renewals, expansion, customer health, GTM Plays, and overall GTM effectiveness
Partner with Data Engineering, Business Systems, Finance, and Analytics teams to define requirements, prioritize data enhancements, and ensure trusted, analytics-ready data
Lead analytics initiatives from business requirements and data exploration through modeling, dashboard development, insight generation, and executive delivery
Serve as a strategic analytics advisor to GTM leaders, analyzing revenue performance and translating complex data into actionable insights, recommendations, and decision frameworks
Develop executive-ready insights for pipeline and forecast reviews, business reviews, strategy discussions, and GTM planning
Define and advance the GTM Strategy AI roadmap, identifying and prioritizing AI-enabled use cases that improve revenue performance, customer insights, and operating productivity
Ensure analytics and AI solutions are scalable, governed, secure, and built on trusted data, business logic, and responsible-AI practices
Serve as the technical and analytical leader for the Revenue Strategy & Operations team, establishing quality standards and coaching and mentoring team members
Lead complex cross-functional initiatives and influence priorities across business, systems, and data teams without formal authority
Minimum Qualifications
8+ years of experience in Revenue Operations, GTM Strategy, Business Intelligence, Analytics, SaaS Strategy, Management Consulting, or a related analytical discipline
Demonstrate experience building enterprise KPI frameworks, semantic data models, reporting standards, and data-governance practices
Expert proficiency in Power BI, including data modeling, DAX, dashboard design, and performance optimization
Strong SQL skills and working knowledge of modern data platforms and warehouse concepts such as Snowflake, Databricks, or Microsoft Fabric
Strong knowledge of Salesforce data and reporting, with an understanding of B2B sales, pipeline, forecasting, renewals, and customer lifecycle processes
Demonstrate ability to translate complex data and business questions into clear insights, recommendations, and executive-level narratives
Strong cross-functional leadership and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence in a fast-paced, matrixed environment
Experience applying AI, automation, or advanced analytics to solve business problems and improve decision-making
Preferred Qualifications
Experience in SaaS, subscription, or recurring-revenue business models
Experience building governed analytics products that support both BI and AI use cases
Familiarity with enterprise AI platforms and capabilities such as Microsoft Copilot, Azure AI, OpenAI, Snowflake Cortex, Databricks, or similar technologies
Experience with predictive analytics, machine learning, retrieval-augmented generation, or agentic workflows in a business environment
Knowledge of responsible-AI principles, model governance, data privacy, and security
Experience mentoring analysts and leading complex cross-functional analytical programs
Establish a trusted and scalable GTM analytics foundation that improves how Autodesk measures performance and makes revenue decisions

Salary transparency
Salary is one part of Autodesk’s competitive compensation package. For U.S.-based roles, we expect a starting base salary between $124,000 and $221,430. Offers are based on the candidate’s experience and geographic location, and may exceed this range.
