Following our success in building strong client relationships across areas surrounding the M25, Reading, Birmingham and the North of England, Contract Options Recruitment is expanding into London, bringing our established recruitment expertise and commitment to quality into the capital's hospitality market.
We are looking for chefs of all levels to join our growing temporary team, with opportunities available across hotels, event companies, contract caterers, restaurants and a variety of hospitality venues throughout London.
Whether you're an experienced Head Chef, Sous Chef, Chef de Partie, Commis Chef or looking to take the next step in your culinary career, we want to hear from you!
We have a variety of opportunities available, from regular ongoing assignments to flexible ad-hoc shifts, offering the chance to work in different kitchens and hospitality environments.
The Opportunity
£15–£22 per hour PAYE , depending on experience and assignment.
Regular and ongoing temporary work, alongside ad-hoc shifts.
Daytime and evening opportunities.
Monday to Friday and weekend shifts available.
Assignments across Central London and Greater London.
Opportunities within hotels, event venues, contract catering, restaurants and other hospitality businesses.
Immediate starts available for suitable candidates.
Flexible opportunities to suit your availability and experience.
Key Responsibilities
Prepare, cook and present food to a consistently high standard.
Work confidently within your experience level and assigned kitchen section.
Maintain excellent food hygiene, health and safety standards.
Follow menus, recipes and instructions from senior kitchen staff.
Work effectively as part of a professional kitchen team.
Adapt quickly to different kitchens, menus and working environments.
Demonstrate reliability, punctuality and a professional attitude on every assignment.
What We're Looking For
Chefs of all levels, from Commis Chefs to Head Chefs.
Previous experience in a professional kitchen is desirable.
A passion for food, cooking and delivering excellent standards.
Good knowledge of food hygiene and kitchen safety.
Strong communication and teamwork skills.
A reliable, punctual and professional approach.
Flexibility regarding shifts, assignments and locations.
A Food Hygiene Certificate, or willingness to obtain one where required.
The legal right to work in the UK.
