Role Description This full‑time, on‑site Taxi Dispatcher and Call Operator role is based in Karachi. The position involves answering incoming calls from passengers and partner companies, recording booking details accurately, and inputting trip information into dispatch systems. The role includes assigning jobs to drivers, monitoring trip progress, and updating routes or pickup details as needed to ensure timely service. The Taxi Dispatcher and Call Operator also responds to customer inquiries, manages booking changes or cancellations, and provides clear, courteous information on fares, timings, and service options. Daily work requires close coordination with drivers and team members, adherence to company procedures, and consistent, professional communication in a busy, shift‑based environment.

Qualifications

• Strong communication and customer service skills, including clear spoken English and professional telephone etiquette.
• Basic computer literacy and ability to work with dispatch, booking, and office software systems.
• Attention to detail, accurate data entry, and effective time management in a fast‑paced setting.
• Ability to stay calm under pressure, handle multiple calls or bookings at once, and prioritize tasks.
• Good geographical awareness and ability to understand routes, travel times, and local traffic considerations.
• Previous experience in call centers, transport dispatch, or customer support is an advantage.
• Willingness to work rotating shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.
• Minimum high school education; further training or certification in customer service or operations is a plus.
