This psychiatric residential facility provides outpatient clinical services to a pediatric patient population ages 8-17. The facility operates on-site and is supported around the clock by nursing staff, a nursing manager, and a Director of Nursing to facilitate consistent care delivery. Clinical operations are structured to accommodate day shift locum tenens coverage throughout the assignment period.

The area offers a range of cultural, educational, and outdoor attractions. Clinicians on assignment may enjoy coastal beaches, regional parks, dining, live music venues, and cycling trails during time away from the assignment.

The clinician will provide outpatient pediatric care to a patient population ages 8-17 at a psychiatric residential facility, operating on a day shift schedule with a preferred shift of 10:00 AM - 6:00 PM; schedules of 8:00 AM - 6:00 PM or 9:00 AM - 5:00 PM are also considered. Scheduling may be structured as two 5-hour shifts, one 10-hour shift, or one 8-hour shift per week. An anticipated caseload of 4-6 patients per day is expected, with a total facility census of 26 pediatric patients. Active BLS certification, a state nursing license, and prescriptive authority are required; board certification is negotiable, and no call coverage is required for this assignment.
