This correctional facility delivers outpatient and clinic-based primary care services to an adult patient population within a secure clinical environment. The facility operates with established protocols suited to corrections-based healthcare delivery, supported by full correctional support staff and on-site nurse practitioners. Clinical workflows are structured to address the primary care needs of the patient population served.

The assignment is located approximately one hour from Columbus, a city offering a range of cultural, recreational, and entertainment options suited to varied interests. The broader region provides access to outdoor destinations including Cuyahoga Valley National Park, the only national park in Ohio, featuring waterfalls, scenic railroads, and miles of trails. Day trips to destinations such as Hocking Hills, Ann Arbor, and Pittsburgh are reachable within a few hours, and additional options spanning theme parks, museums, zoos, and hiking trails are accessible throughout the surrounding area.

Clinicians will provide outpatient and clinic-based primary care services to an adult patient population at an on-site correctional facility, working Monday through Friday from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with options for 3 x 12-hour or 4 x 10-hour shift configurations; Saturday availability is permitted but not required. The expected caseload is 16-18 patients per day, with clinical responsibilities encompassing the evaluation and management of primary care conditions within a structured correctional environment. Required credentials include a state NP license, DEA registration, ACLS certification, CPR certification, and prescriptive authority; board certification is negotiable. Clinicians with correctional experience and a minimum of 2 years of clinical experience are preferred; credentialing is estimated at approximately 3 weeks.
