Package Handler - Feeder Aircraft PT

Responsible for the physical loading and unloading of packages in/out of a feeder aircraft, in addition to sorting of packages by hand in a safe and efficient manner.

Provides safe and efficient operation of equipment used for the movement of packages, documents and dangerous goods as related to the interface between feeder aircraft loading/unloading.
* Regularly loads/unloads, lifts, carries, pushes and pulls packages. Loads and unloads packages onto or from feeder aircraft, delivery vehicles, trailers, pallets, conveyor system carts and load gratings.
* Lifts, carries, pushes and pulls packages on a continuous and repetitive basis for approximate shift of 3-5 hours, with potential of working one or more shifts each day.
* Comply with all relevant safety policies, company policies and procedures. No experience required; Proficiency in English, both verbal and written required. without assistance from the ground to chest level and to maneuver packages of any weight above 50 lbs. using appropriate equipment and/or assistance from another person.
* Must satisfactorily complete and maintain all company and government-regulated training, including STA clearance. Yearly training recertification is required.
* Able to successfully complete all basic and re-currency training.
