About the Role

Lead Environment, Health & Safety (EHS) initiatives across textile manufacturing operations.

Responsibilities

Ensure compliance with applicable safety, health, environmental, and legal requirements. Conduct risk assessments, safety inspections, incident investigations, and implement corrective actions. Manage fire safety, boiler safety, emergency preparedness, mock drills, and contractor safety. Oversee environmental compliance, including ETP operations, hazardous waste management, chemical safety, pollution control requirements, and statutory approvals. Drive ISO 45001 & ISO 14001 management systems and coordinate internal/external audits. Conduct EHS training programs and promote a proactive safety culture.

Qualifications

B. Tech / B. E. in Industrial Safety, Fire & Safety, Environmental Engineering, or related discipline. Minimum 8 years of EHS experience in the Textile Manufacturing Industry. Hands-on experience in integrated textile operations such as Spinning, Knitting, Processing, Dyeing, Garmenting, Utilities, Boiler Operations, and ETP Management. Strong knowledge of statutory compliance, boiler regulations, environmental regulations, chemical management, and industrial safety practices.

NEBOSH (IGC/Diploma) Advanced Diploma in Industrial Safety (ADIS) ISO 45001 Lead Auditor ISO 14001 Lead Auditor IOSH Managing Safely Certified Safety Professional (CSP) – Preferred
