This role is responsible for managing subcontractors, maintaining schedules and budgets, ensuring quality standards, and serving as the primary point of contact for clients and project stakeholders.Key ResponsibilitiesCoordinate and manage subcontractors and suppliers to ensure projects are completed on time and within budgetInspect work in progress to ensure compliance with plans, specifications, and Buchanan’s quality standardsReview and manage payment applications, progress reports, punch lists, and daily logsApprove subcontractor invoices and track time and material costsMaintain accurate and timely customer billing, including schedule of valuesCollaborate with superintendents to monitor progress, productivity, and safety complianceProactively resolve issues related to delays, weather, or unforeseen conditionsPrepare detailed progress reports and maintain organized project documentationServe as the primary point of contact for clients, architects, and vendorsOversee multiple projects while maintaining a high level of organization and communicationFoster strong relationships with subcontractors and team members to uphold Buchanan’s reputationContribute to a team-oriented environment built on trust, respect, and shared successWhat Success Looks LikeProjects delivered on time and within budgetHigh-quality craftsmanship that reflects Buchanan’s standardsStrong, professional relationships with clients and trade partnersClear, proactive communication across all phases of constructionA positive impact on both the team and the overall client experienceQualificationsMinimum 5 years of construction experience (commercial preferred)Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Building Science, or related fieldStrong knowledge of construction processes, scheduling, and budgetingExcellent communication, organization, and problem-solving skillsProficiency in Microsoft Office and construction management softwareAbility to multitask, prioritize, and work independentlyA strong sense of accountability, urgency, and pride in your workCompensation & BenefitsCompetitive salary: $90,000 – $100,000 per yearCompany vehicleCompany phone and tabletGenerous PTO and paid holidays to support work-life balanceMedical benefit contributionsProfit sharing opportunitiesRetirement planOur CultureWe are looking for someone who takes pride in their work, values relationships, and wants to be part of a company where people come first—both inside and outside the organization.At Buchanan Construction, your role goes beyond the job site.
